Bocs Social are back on the scene after an almost three year break. Bigger and better than before, Bocs Social are quickly becoming Ireland’s best live ska band.
Having previously won the King Kong Club 2009, played for FMC’s once a month club in the Academy.They have played in top venues around the country including Whelans, The Village, Twisted Pepper, POD, Sweeneys and Ulster Hall in Belfast.They have also played at several festivals including The Electric Picnic 2010,Sea Sessions, NPLD, Happy Valley Festival, Willowstone Arts and Music Festival, Knockanstockan, Sunset Festival in Gorey, Helium Festival, Arthurs Day and many more….They have shared stages with O Emperor, Ham Sandwich, Bipolar Empire, Touch Wood, Sleigh Bells and Republic of Loose. They’ve also played in the UK along with shows in Dublin including a Saturday Night residency in Pravda (Now known as The grand Social). They have also played all over Ireland such as Cork, Wexford,Galway, Limerick, Donegal, Down, Mullingar, Sligo, Belfast and Kilkenny.
