Thrive, Groove Festival’s all new health, fitness and wellness quarter, offers festival goers the chance to relax, rejuvenate and reenergise the mind, body and soul through a jam-packed programme of over 35 free movement classes, wellness workshops and inspirational talks. Access to Thrive, where Retreat Meets Music, is all inclusive in the incredible value festival tickets. Day tickets to Groove are just €59.50 (+booking fee) for the best in music on the main stage, including Primal Scream, UB40, Hothouse Flowers, Hudson Taylor, Jerry Fish plus lots more including the most exciting of emerging Irish music talent on the Sony Xperia Stage.
Groovers can ‘rise and rave’ into their festival day with the hugely popular Morning Gloryville, kick starting the Thrive schedule on Saturday 19th at 11.30am. The jam packed schedule, will run from 11am to 7pm over the two days of Groove Festival, with access and participation for all classes included within the price of the Festival ticket.
Whether it’s letting their hair down to a vibrant dance class, realigning the body with Platinum Pilates, or finding a moment of zen with classes from some of Ireland’s leading yoga teachers including Julie Burke, Cathy Pearson and Kitty Maguire, the Thrive Movement Stage will have festival goers stretched, loose and ready for an evening of dancing to the sounds of Groove Festival’s stellar line up of top international and local music acts.
For those that don’t want to don the athleisure look, there is plenty to discover at the Thrive Talks Stage, in association with Appliances Delivered, where health and wellness experts including Andrea Hayes, Chris Flack, Emma Buckley and Roz Purcell, will share the secrets to nourishing the body and mind, inside and out. Activity will include healthy cooking demonstrations from the live on-stage kitchen, panel discussions, wellness workshops, and in formative Q&A sessions where you can put your burning questions to the experts.
Thrive’s Wellness Marketplace will feature a hand picked selection of exciting brands and practitioners from the growing Irish health food and wellness industry. Thrive at Groove Festival is perfectly timed to help people kick back into action as the end of the summer holidays approach, with September now becoming the new January for people taking control of their health.
Food, nutrition, wellness, exercise and mindfulness all are becoming core to people’s life and health strategies, and not just for themselves but for the whole family.
